Decentered Media is hosting a new series of Media Exchange sessions exploring Foundational Media: the media practices, organisations, skills, technologies and resources that enable communities to communicate, participate and hold power to account.
The sessions will take place online at 4pm UK time every other Wednesday, beginning on 19 August 2026.
We want these exchanges to bring together community and independent media practitioners, researchers, educators, technologists, policymakers, organisers and interested citizens. You do not need to arrive with a polished position. Bring an experience, example, question or constructive challenge.

The sessions are intended to gather evidence and explore different perspectives. Contributions will not automatically be treated as agreed Decentered Media or Better Media policy.
